The Young Adults Academy aims to improve transition to work, community participation and social development in young adults with a disability. Our aim is to access vocational education, personal development training, increase forms of community participation, as well as strive to assist people's transition to employment. Our individual program plan identifies specific outcomes for each person to enhance their skills, opportunities and knowledge.
Our main focus is to train young adults in the various life skill areas with the ultimate goal for them to live semi-independently. We aim for them to become contributing members of society, as well as being fully included within the community.
